The Marienplatz-Galerie is a seven-storey shopping center with four retail levels and around 15,000 square metres of retail space in the centre of Schwerin. For Center Management, we recreated the website in 2019 and then took over the marketing of the website.
The special feature of the website is the interactive map, in which the website visitors get all the shops, divided by gastronomy & food, fashion, beauty, service as well as lifestyle & life, displayed on the four retail levels. By clicking on the respective area, the visitor receives a description as well as the contact details and the opening hours. Furthermore, videos and a 360-degree tour were integrated into the website.
Extensive service offers, directions, route planners with Google maps and the traffic schwerin as well as the emergency numbers for the shopping center and the connected car park complete the website offer. Of course, the website is responsively implemented and optimized for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Since a new website does not automatically find your prospects, we have subsequently also taken over the promotion of the website. To this end, we have launched a Google Adwords campaign and taken over social media marketing in cooperation with the local agency (OFFICE VIP in Schwerin). By promoting the Facebook posts, we have been able to increase the reach, interactions and fan numbers per week by an average of up to 600! Individual posts had over 750 likes. Before that, there were rarely more than 30.
The Google Adwords campaign also significantly increased the website’s visits. In connection with the social media promotion, the number of visitors also increased in the three-digit percentage range.
